This year we have four coaches. Two of those coaches are new to our program; yet all of them have the same goal in mind. We want to create the greatest softball players we can and along the way we also hope to create individuals who are dedicated to becoming well-rounded individuals who "play" the game of life with sportsmanship and competiveness.















Coach Abby Sweet will be coaching the freshmen team this year. This will be her first year of coaching with the Saber Softball program. She is a graduate of Coe College where she spent some time playing softball. She is currently a third grade teacher.















Coach Owen Hinz will be the coach for the Fr/So team. He has been with the program longer than anyone. Over the past 5 years Coach Hinz and his girls have set the season win/loss record several times.















Assistant Coach Kirk Machovec is one of the two new coachs this year for Saber Softball. He will be the varsity assistant coach.















Coach Kevin Roling is back to lead the Sabers again this year. This will be his 8th year as the Sabers head coach.
